… and how his words are his language. I would say, Tim Bendzko is an incredible songwriter. His lyrics and melodies touch and charm. He definitively lets hearts beat faster.

For his “Ich steh nicht mehr still” tour I got two tickets for his concert on 5th March 2014 at Maaghalle Zurich from Joiz. I first thought it wouldn’t work out for me to go to the concert cos of financial reasons. Joiz, my saviour! My friend waited already at the location. It was quite a big stop-go, til we got our tickets, but we got into the hall in time for the concert beginning and did cleave our way sidewards to the right side of the stage. Pha, this was totaly easy and the concert again incredibly beautiful.

Support act, Tom Klose with his guitare and his band mate with cello, I liked with the first song quite a lot, but soon not so much anymore. Simply didn’t get hooked during the rest of their performance and it became rather uninteressting. It was very different when Tim’s band finally entered stage around 9 pm and Mr Bendzko followed. A Tim Bendzko doesn’t even need a big show with dancing or pyros. Only his lyrics, anectodes and stories as well as jokes offers a wonderful concert to the audience and provides a magical evening. And the guy is incredibly likable. Of course they played many hits – and not only “Nur noch kurz die Welt retten” oder “Wenn Worte meine Sprache wären”. Next to titles as “Sag einfach ja”, “Ich steh nicht mehr still”, “Programmiert” or “Ich laufe”, “Ohne zurück zu sehen” and “Am seidenen Faden” were my favourites.

Shortly before the concert ended we even managed easily to get front row. Unfortunately I couldn’t stay to the very last song, but it was so worth again to travel to Zurich for Tim. This got to be repeated.
